Just to start off, I took screen grabs from the game of poses I liked and changed the design of the model by shortening the legs, decreasing the size of the feet, increasing the size of the shoulders and arms (all to make him more stocky/powerful), and of course by re-designing the face to be more in line with the animation style I will aim for.
Then taking the re-design of his standing pose, I animated the following Turnaround...
(Don't forget to FULLSCREEN!)
... Not perfect by any means! It was quite hard to rotate the pose as it's not a typical symmetrical/standing straight kinda pose. And the spacing aint exactly even :D
But Hey! On with Storyboarding...

mmmmm.. it's not reeeeaaally animation though - I mean he's not actually moving and thinking etc... it's just volumes turning. The hard 'animation' part starts now, so we'll soon see if I warrant that very kind comment :)
